Who This Pan Suits

Stock it for new residential builds, apartment and townhouse fit-outs, and refurbishment work where the wall is being opened up anyway. The 520mm projection gives back floor space in powder rooms and small ensuites, which is where most of the volume sits in Australian apartment stock.

It is not a retrofit product. The next section explains why in detail, because getting this wrong costs you a container.

The 180mm Set-Out - Read This Before You Order

Australian floor-outlet pans usually sit at 100–120mm from the finished wall to the waste centre. This one does not. The S-trap set-out on FI-05 is fixed at 180mm, with no adjustment collar and no offset adaptor in the box.So if your customer is swapping out a pan in an existing bathroom, where the waste is already cast into the slab, this is the wrong product for that job. We would rather say so here than process the claim three months later.

Where 180mm stops being a problem is new construction. Because this back to wall compact toilet is built around an in-wall cistern frame, the waste position is set when the frame is fixed and sheeted - the drainage follows the drawing instead of the drawing chasing the drainage. On a project sheet, 180mm is simply the figure the plumber sets out to.For retrofit-led stock, our standard projection back to wall toilet pan is the one to quote.

WaterMark, WELS and What Your Compliance Team Will Check

Model FI-05 is a WaterMark certified back to wall toilet pan and carries a WELS 4-star registration. Certificate and registration numbers are issued with every quotation, so your compliance team can verify them on the WELS product database before you commit to an order. We expect you to check. Australian suppliers carry the liability for unregistered product, not the factory that made it.

One point that catches importers out: WELS rates the flushing system, not the pan in isolation. A registered cistern matched to an unregistered pan does not give you a compliant installation. That is why we quote the concealed cistern and toilet as a registered pair - buy the system from us and the registration covers the thing you actually sell.

Star rating in practice: 4-star means 4.5 litres full flush and 3 litres half flush. If your state requires 5-star, say so at enquiry stage and we will point you at the right model rather than sell you a compliance problem.

In-Wall Cistern Compatibility

The pan takes a 55mm inlet and a 100mm outlet, and is sized for 90mm wall stud framing. We supply a matched frame and button plate, or you can pair the pan with an inwall cistern you already stock - send us the frame drawing at quotation stage and we will check the connection geometry against FI-05 before you order rather than after.

Body, Glaze and Water Testing

The back to wall toilet bowl is high-fired vitreous china with a fully glazed trapway.

Our tunnel kilns are 126 metres long by 3.2 metres wide, plus two more at 82 metres by 2.8 metres. The width matters to you for one reason. A wider kiln car holds an even cross-section temperature across more pieces at once, and that is what keeps glaze colour matched between your first container and your fourth. Buyers who put mixed shipments in the same display room notice when it is not.

Firing curves are adjustable per model. So when a customer comes back with a glaze or warp complaint on a specific run, we can change the curve rather than tell you it falls within tolerance.

Water testing is 100 per cent. Every pan is filled and checked for seepage and flush path before it is packed.

Packaging, Container Loading and Breakage

Cartons are 5-layer corrugated with moulded EPS at the pressure points, then either palletised or crated in a timber frame. That is your call at order stage, and worth deciding early if your inland leg involves several handling points.

Breakage on our Australian shipments runs under 0.5 per cent. When pieces do arrive broken, photograph the damage and the carton and we replace them free in your next shipment. No claim form and no argument about who dropped it.

Samples, OEM and Lead Time

Sample lead time is 45 days and samples are charged. Production lead time is 35–45 days from deposit and approved artwork.

OEM and ODM both run here. We tool to your drawing and print your brand on the carton. If you are building a private-label range across several models, send the whole drawing set at once, because sequencing the moulds together is quicker than releasing them one at a time.

Bulk production is matched to the approved sample on glaze colour and dimension. Where a run drifts, we hold it rather than ship it and explain later.

FAQ

Q: Will this pan fit an existing Australian bathroom?

A: Usually not. The set-out is fixed at 180mm, against the 100–120mm typical of Australian floor-outlet pans. Specify FI-05 for new construction and fit-outs where drainage is set from the drawing. For replacement work, ask us about our standard projection model instead.

Q: What is the MOQ and how long is production?

A: MOQ is 50 pieces per model per colour. Production runs 35–45 days from deposit and artwork approval. Mixed models in one container are fine, as long as each model reaches 50.

Q: What happens if pieces arrive damaged?

A: Photograph the damage and the carton, send it through, and we replace the pieces free in your next shipment. Breakage has been running under 0.5 per cent on Australian routes.

Q: Can we put our own brand on it?

A: Yes. Carton printing to your artwork, and ODM tooling to your drawing if you want the shape changed.

Q: Does it come with the cistern?

A: It can. This back to wall compact toilet is sold on its own or as a matched set with our in-wall frame and button plate. Buying the pair keeps the WELS registration and the warranty with one supplier.

Q: How many fit in a container?

A: Roughly 320–400 pieces in a 40HQ palletised and 140–160 in a 20GP. Floor loading lifts the 40HQ figure to around 480–520 if you are willing to trade handling time for volume.
