Can it go on any wall? Not directly on a plasterboard stud wall without support. A wall-hung pan hangs off a concealed frame that transfers the weight to the floor, not to the wall sheet - the frame is rated to carry a seated adult (typically 400kg static), the plasterboard is not. For a non-loadbearing or stud wall, you fit the frame and let it bear the load; for a solid masonry wall you can wall-mount the frame to the brickwork. Either way the pan bolts to the frame, never to the sheet. We flag this on every wall hung enquiry because a buyer who specs the pan but forgets the frame ends up with a fixture that cannot be installed - the most common avoidable mistake on this category.

The 3060 pan is supplied with a P-trap at 180mm rough-in to match standard Australian in-wall cistern outlets, so it pairs with the common concealed frames sold here. If you want us to supply a matched frame and flush plate with the pans, tell us at quotation and we will spec the set together rather than leaving you to source a frame that may not line up with the 180mm outlet.

A wall mounted toilet earns its place on two things a floor-standing pan cannot match. First, floor space: with nothing standing on the floor, a small bathroom reads larger and the visible footprint shrinks - which is why apartment and hotel ensuite specifiers reach for it when rooms are tight. Second, the finished look: the cistern disappears into the wall, leaving a clean back-to-wall or floating line that photographs well for a display unit or a project spec sheet. Before any container ships, pans are checked for glaze defects and water absorption, and the mounting-hole positions are dry-checked against the frame spec so the bulk run matches the sample you approved. If you need a specific white tone or glaze matched across repeat orders, lock it at sample stage and we hold it as the reference for the rollout.
