The most expensive mistake on a pedestal sink container is not the glaze. It is the faucet hole. Ceramic is drilled before firing, so a single-hole basin cannot be converted to a 4 in. centerset once it is in your warehouse, and a customer who bought a two-handle faucet will bring the sink back.

The 6606 ships with one 35 mm (1-3/8 in.) center hole as standard, which fits any single-handle lavatory faucet and gives the cleanest look on a narrow deck. We also hold tooling for 4 in. centerset and 8 in. widespread drilling on this body. Most of our US and Canadian accounts stock two SKUs of the same wholesale pedestal sink, single-hole for the modern channel and 4 in. centerset for replacement business, because the centerset version still moves in older housing stock. 1.The basin has an overflow, so it needs a pop-up drain WITH overflow. Selling it against a no-overflow grid drain is a common cause of leak complaints and returns.

2.The pedestal is not the only support. The basin hangs on the wall through two 20 x 30 mm slots at 160 mm centers, so the installer needs blocking or a proper hanger bolt into a stud. Put that line in your install sheet and warranty claims drop.

3.At a 31-1/2 in. rim this is a standard-height lavatory, not an ADA fixture. If the job calls for ADA knee clearance, ask us for the wall-hung body instead.

The factory holds ISO 9001, US UPC and Canadian CSA certification, plus the water-saving mark. Production of this body is controlled to the requirements of ASME A112.19.2 / CSA B45.1. For a first order into the US or Canada, ask for the model-specific listing document rather than the factory certificate, and check the effective date. If you are building a private label program, we can arrange sub-listing under your brand so the mark on the box is yours, and we fire your logo into the ceramic on the underside.

Two-piece pedestal sets are the highest claim item in any basin container, and freight damage in the US usually happens after the port, on the LTL leg. Each set goes out as two cartons, the basin and the pedestal packed separately rather than stacked in one box, with EPS end caps, double-wall board and corner blocks. Two smaller cartons take a drop far better than one tall one. Cartons can be palletized and stretch-wrapped for DC delivery at roughly 10 percent volume loss.

We also supply basin-only and pedestal-only spares at 2 to 3 percent of order quantity. A cracked pedestal on delivery then costs you a component, not a full set and a customer.
