When choosing sanitary ware, people will not only pay attention to its design and brand, but also the materials it is made of, because the materials used are likely to affect the usability of the sanitary ware. Ceramics are a common material for manufacturing sanitary ware. Sanitary ceramic products are characterized by energy efficiency, environmental friendliness and high performance.

1. Examine the overall appearance of the ware

High-quality sanitary ware should not only have an aesthetically pleasing shape, but also conform to ergonomic principles for comfortable use. The manufacturer's molds, equipment and design capabilities are the decisive factors.

2. Check the fittings of the ware

At present, premium water fittings are made of imported PVC materials and adopt vacuum water-filling technology, which greatly enhances corrosion resistance, rust prevention and leakproof performance. Water fittings of well-known brand sanitary ware are supplied by professional manufacturers.

3. Inspect the glaze surface of the ware

The brand of glaze, thickness of the glaze layer and firing process directly determine the quality of the ware's glaze surface. Sanitary ware coated with imported glaze and thick glaze layers features a smooth and delicate surface, rich texture and crystal clarity, which is visually appealing. It also has excellent self-cleaning properties and low water absorption rate. The inner walls of the drain pipes and water tanks of mid-to-high-end sanitary ware are also glazed, which is crucial for preventing dirt buildup in toilets. Glazing of the drain pipe is an important indicator for judging the grade of sanitary ware.

4. Evaluate the ceramic body of the ware

The quality of the ceramic body directly determines the water absorption rate of the product. At present, ceramic firing technology has been greatly improved, and most brands adopt high-temperature firing at over 800°C.The length of the high-temperature tunnel kiln directly affects the texture of the ceramic: the longer the tunnel, the longer the time the ceramic takes from heating to cooling. With minimal temperature changes during the firing process, the product is less prone to cracking and has excellent thermal shock resistance. Conversely, a short high-temperature tunnel kiln means a shorter heating-to-cooling cycle, resulting in ceramics with brittle texture that are susceptible to cracking.
