Most people don't decide to use a wall hung toilet at the beginning.
It usually comes up later - when something in the layout doesn't work.
At first, a standard floor-mounted toilet seems easier.
No wall work.
Lower cost.
More familiar installation.
So it becomes the default choice.

There is also the visual factor.
Small bathrooms can feel even smaller when too many elements sit directly on the floor.
This is usually the point where wall hung toilets start to be considered.
Not as a design upgrade.
But as a way to fix specific problems.
This creates more visual space,
and in many cases, slightly more usable space.
But switching to wall hung is not always necessary.
It makes sense when:

·the project allows concealed tank installation
·the goal is to reduce visual and physical pressure in the room
It is less necessary when:
·the bathroom has enough space
·installation simplicity is the priority
·the market is still dominated by floor-mounted systems
There is also one detail that is often overlooked.
Not all wall hung toilets are the same size.
Some still extend quite far into the room.
So choosing wall hung alone is not enough.
Projection still matters.
n small bathrooms, shorter models (around 500–520 mm) tend to work better.
They reduce the amount of space taken into the room,
which is often the original problem.
